The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) celebrated the graduation of 68 participants from the Cyber Anti-Fraud Program (CAFP). Participants from SAMA, local banks, digital banks, and electronic wallets institutions completed the program after 3 months of extensive training in Cambridge University.
The second edition of this program comes under a national initiative launched by SAMA to develop the skills and capabilities of national cadres in this field to combat cyber threats to organizations and individuals.
This edition of the program provided practical training on the Counter-Fraud Framework issued by SAMA to improve the trainees’ knowledge of fraud methods, risks and prevention strategies through four main pillars: governance, counter, monitoring, and response. In addition, the program included practical engagement with global banks and financial institutions.
