On behalf of SAMA staff, H.E. Governor Ayman Al-Sayari congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Crown Prince Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud; and fellow citizens, on the occasion of Saudi National Day 94.

H.E. Al-Sayari stated: “This occasion signifies the values of solidarity and brotherhood among citizens and our passion for its national heritage. It is a nation that cherishes noble values and principles to mark the Kingdom's foundation by its founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud."

H.E. Al-Sayari added: Under the guidance of the Saudi leadership, SAMA continues to enable economic growth by maintaining financial and monetary stability. He also emphasized that SAMA's remit and role are in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, and the launch of numerous national initiatives aimed at developing the financial sector to attract further investments, and promote innovation and competition.

H.E. Al-Sayari pointed out that over 11 regulatory and instructional documents have been issued and updated to develop the financial sector, adding that: “We, at SAMA, work on advancing the digital infrastructures for payments and fintech, conforming to state-of-the-art technical and security standards and best international practices," citing the accelerating transformation and remarkable development witnessed in this sector, while noting the increase in fintech companies operating in Saudi Arabia at the onset of 2023 by 57% to 230; and the share of e-payments, which reached 70% of total retail payments in the Kingdom in 2023.

H.E. Al-Sayari said SAMA initiatives, under the framework of digitalization, included the launch of the government banking services platform “NQD," which provides easy access for government entities to their accounts at SAMA via a secure digital platform, and “Account Finder" service for retail customers across local banks, which enables them to verify ownership of their personal accounts at local banks through digital banking.

H.E. Al-Sayari concluded: May Allah grant us success in our endeavors and bless our nation with security and prosperity under the exalted leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince.​
