Overview
SAMA has developed an AI-powered platform that generates synthetic data that closely replicates real-world data. The project aims to evaluate the feasibility of using Synthetic Data technologies to enhance data analytics and broaden data utilization while ensuring privacy and confidentiality. The platform processes real data samples, trains dedicated AI model tailored to specific data types, and generates high-quality synthetic data that preserves the statistical properties of the original dataset and the internal relationships between its values. Advanced generation features prevent the original values from being inferred from the synthetic data. Additionally, the platform can create realistic synthetic data without requiring real data uploads, based solely on a user-provided description and statistical properties. It also supports generating synthetic instances for rare patterns within real data to support the study of their underlying factors, creating synthetic data with more extreme values than those found in the available historical data, and extending the analysis time horizon by producing synthetic data that mirrors the real dataset but spans a longer period than the one available.
Scope
