The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) declares that, in view of its supervisory role and in accordance with article number (18) of the cooperative insurance companies control law issued by Royal Decree No. M/32 dated 02/06/1424 and Article No. 76 of the executive Regulations of the cooperative insurance Control law, had decided to call off reinsurance activities for a number of companies:
- Ro'eah Al-mustaqbal (Future Vision).
- Nwran Al-tha'habiah (Golden Nwran).
- Al-makater Al-ra'aesiah (Main Risk).
- Namar.
- Al-arabiyah for insurance and reinsurance marketing company.
- Al-awlaa.
- Bait Al-ta'men (Insurance House).
- Al-aalmiyah Al-mutahidah (Global Union ).
- Etihad Westa Al-ta'men (Brokerage Union) company.
- Al-sabil Asia.
- Essam Qabbani.
With the permission to continue practicing brokerage activities in Insurance as of 13/10/1439 corresponding to 27/06/2018. This comes after SAMA has noted the non-compliance of the companies referred to above with the regulatory requirements and instructions issues by SAMA regarding the practice of brokerage activities in reinsurance. SAMA calls upon all insureds and beneficiaries of the insurance to uphold their rights and to review the company in this regard.
