His Excellency Fahad Almubarak, governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) - in his name and on behalf of SAMA employees - congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al- Saud and his Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman -may Allah preserve them- and to the people of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of the 92nd national day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

His Excellency affirmed that the National Day is a very dear occasion for the Saudi Arabian people as it brings to mind the historical achievements and noble values and principles that accompanied the unification of this great nation at the hands of the founding King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, may Allah rest his soul.

Almubarak pointed out that the Saudi Central Bank - under the directives of the leadership, may Allah protect it- is working to promote economic growth by preserving monetary and financial stability, which - praise be to Allah- has contributed to advancing economic development and raising the level of welfare for the citizen. The Central Bank also contributes to achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030 through the Financial Sector Development Program, which will - God willing - drive the development process spearheaded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince -may Allah preserve them. The initiatives undertaken by the Central Bank -in this context- in the past period include: The Saudi Central Bank has updated the Framework of its Regulatory Sandbox, which will open the way for new companies to provide financial services. In addition, the Saudi Central Bank launched the financial technology strategy following its approved by the Cabinet. It also launched the Open Banking framework which is one of the most important initiatives of this strategy. Moreover, the Saudi Central Bank has sought to model financing transactions by launching an initiative to facilitate electronic transactions of financing activities.

 "We ask Allah to perpetuate the blessing of security and stability in this country, and to bestow the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince good fortune for the greater good of this dear nation," Almubarak concluded.
