The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) celebrated at its headquarter in Riyadh a humanitarian initiative titled “Day of Wafa” for a number of its deceased employees’ sons of the year 1439H. The celebrated was in the presence of SAMA’s governor, Dr. Ahmad Bin Abdulkareem Al-Kholifey, Deputy Governor, Abdulaziz Al Friah, along with a number of deputies and directors.

 SAMA’s initiative is to honor employees who passed away on work came in line with its social responsibility in an attempt to mitigate the psychological effects of losing a close family member and support them.

On this occasion, Al-Kholifey said: “We meet here in the day of Wafa to honor colleagues who served the institution. You leave this place today where other qualified young generation continue the work in all fields, knowing that you have left good trace and influenced others. At the end, Al-Kholifey concluded by praying to Allah to forgive the deceased ones.
